The Wirtanen Comet has a touch of mystery to it, as it never quite let astronomers get a good look at it.

It opens with bright and floral notes: bergamot, ylang ylang and rose,

before moving to a heart of black pepper, jasmine, peony, ouds from Laos and Cambodia.

It then moves to a base of caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, ambergris and musk.
